Zavemate / Who it's for

Who uses Zavemate, and what they make

Zavemate makes four things from a name list: name badges, certificates, place cards and greeting cards. This is what teachers, training centres, playgroups, sports clubs, couples, party hosts, event organisers, small businesses and community groups use them for. It's all DIY: you make the files in your browser and print them yourself or at any print shop.

Kindergarten and primary teachers

A class list is usually all you have. Make everything from it once, and reuse the design next term.

  • Place cards Desk name tags for every student, with the name on both sides of a folded card — for lessons, group work and classroom games.
  • Certificates End-of-year awards, and certificates of participation for school events and competitions.
  • Name badges Name badges for outings, open days and sports days.
  • Greeting cards Thank-you and holiday cards with each child's or parent's name.

Training centres, tutoring and interest classes

New groups start every term, so the same certificate design is used again and again.

  • Certificates Certificates of completion or attendance, with one PDF per student to email or print.
  • Name badges Name badges for workshops, trial lessons and open days.
  • Place cards Desk name cards, so trainers learn names quickly.

Playgroups, preschools and childcare centres

Short courses and graduations come round often, and every child gets something with their name on it.

  • Certificates Completion and graduation certificates for each child.
  • Name badges Name tags for children and parents at sessions and events.
  • Greeting cards Cards for parents at holidays or the end of term.

Sports clubs, teams and coaches

Seasons, tournaments and training camps end with something for every player.

  • Certificates Certificates of participation and achievement for every player, tournament or training camp.
  • Name badges Name badges for coaches, players and volunteers at tournaments and camps.
  • Place cards Place cards for team dinners and award nights.

Couples and wedding planners

The guest list keeps changing until the week of the wedding, so the cards should come straight from it.

  • Place cards DIY folded place cards from the guest list, with table numbers, printed at home or at a print shop.
  • Greeting cards Thank-you cards addressed to each guest — printed, or sent as a picture by email or WhatsApp.

Party and family hosts

Dinner parties, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, baby and bridal showers, and family celebrations.

  • Place cards Place cards for dinner parties, holiday dinners and showers — folded, with the name on both sides.
  • Greeting cards Thank-you cards after a shower or party, and Christmas cards with each person's name.

Event organisers, associations, NGOs and executive assistants

Seminars, conferences and dinners, often with Chinese and English names and late changes.

  • Name badges Two-sided name badges for seminars and conferences, with Chinese and English names on one line or two.
  • Place cards Place cards for gala and company dinners.
  • Certificates Certificates of appreciation for speakers and judges, and certificates of participation for attendees and volunteers.
  • Greeting cards Holiday and thank-you cards for clients, members and donors.

Small businesses and online shops

A personal note for every customer or client, made from your order or client list instead of by hand.

  • Greeting cards Thank-you cards with each customer's name to put in orders, and holiday cards for clients.
  • Name badges Staff name badges for shops, clinics, cafés and front desks.

Churches and community groups

Volunteers run most of the work, so it needs to be quick and simple.

  • Name badges Name badges for gatherings and new members.
  • Certificates Certificates of appreciation for volunteers and helpers.
  • Greeting cards Christmas and thank-you cards for every member.
